I’ve had this book for years and it is one that I always go back to. Glover covers everything that you need to know. He has a friendly coach-like tone that really encourages me to run. There are sections for beginning and intermediate runners as well advice on how to get into racing and marathons. He also covers nutrition, running shoes and clothing, cross-training, and a whole lot more. This is really the only book you need on running.
